Weird...help?

I was driving along and turned on my main defroster. I hit both the power and main defroster button at the same time and sometime odd happened.

It gave me a fan speed, 2 88 degree readings and the ext temp went to 00. What did I hit? Is this some weird reset setting thing or something that may have come on my car if I had got the premium edition?

Any ford opponauts thoughts would be much appreciated.

I doubt it was any type of reset, because normally to reset something via buttons it requires you to press and hold for a certain length of time. Probably just a weird glitch.

As a former Ford owner: It's broken, the entire unit will have to be removed and reprogrammed. It's going to be $800, take a week, and your loaner will be a base-model Fiesta sedan. In silver. With an automatic.

try pressing the power and main defroster at the same time with one finger and see if anything happens. I'm curious

There's a post about what sounds like this same thing over on this forum . Looks like a Ford rep replied and said:
